The Story: From Norwegian Grammy Winner to Hudson Valley Revival

Vibeke Saugestad is Norwegian rock royalty. She got her big break in the mid-1990s as the frontwoman for Weld, winning a Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy) for their hit debut album Natural Tools.

After launching a solo career in the early 2000s, she scored heavy airplay across US indie and college radio with infectious hit singles like "He's Peculiar" and "Tonight" off her fan-favorite record The World Famous Hat Trick (Pop Detective Records).

Fast forward to 2023: Now living in Beacon, NY, Vibeke recruited a heavyweight local lineup to bring her iconic solo material back to life for a neighborhood bar show. What started as a one-off reunion exploded into a brand-new, full-time touring unit.
