Whether you’re a long-time devotee of the 80s UK indie scene or a newcomer to their signature brand of sophisticated, guitar-driven pop, this is a rare chance to see The Jack Rubies in the most intimate setting imaginable.
Taking the stage at Randy Now’s Man Cave, the London-born rockers bring their sharp songwriting and cinematic energy to Hightstown for an afternoon of music that defies easy categorization.
After bursting onto the scene with the classic Fascinatin' Vacation and touring with the likes of Modern English and They Might Be Giants, The Jack Rubies have maintained a cult status for a reason: they craft songs that stick. Expect a setlist that balances their vintage hits with the mature, textured sound that has kept them relevant for decades.

THE SUCCESSFUL FAILURESFormed in 2005 out of the New Jersey pinelands by singer-songwriter and former English teacher Mick Chorba, The Successful Failures are a highly prolific four-piece indie rock and roots-Americana band. Borrowing their name from a Jack London short story, the group has spent over two decades crafting an infectious, high-energy sound that seamlessly blends power-pop melodies, garage-rock energy, and "cowpunk" country twang. With an impressive catalog of more than 10 studio albums and a recent live EP recorded at the historic Sun Studio in Memphis, their songs tell vivid, every-Joe stories ranging from love and longing to history and American folklore. Known for their tight musicianship and deep-rooted friendship, they remain a beloved fixture of the Garden State's music scene, regularly sharing stages with major artists like Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and Lucinda Williams.
