Originally released on LP & cassette in 1980 for the North American market only.

This very first CD issue is unique with the 13 tracks of the original LP & cassette, including "Object" and "World War."
All the reissues feature 12 tracks with "So What" instead.
It was the only official CD with "World War" until the release of Three Imaginary Boys Deluxe Edition in 2004.

Silver CD with old Fiction Logo, plain silver hub without manufacturing credit on matrix.
The "815 011-2" catalog number is printed on the inner side of the back cover, hidden by the black plastic tray.
