Lez Zeppelin (Acoustic): The "She-Incarnation" Unplugged

When Jimmy Page himself witnessed Lez Zeppelin live, he remarked on their "extraordinary sensuality and energy." While this powerhouse quartet is world-renowned for their thunderous, note-for-note electric performances, their return to Randy Now’s Man Cave offers a rare, stripped-down look at the band that Spin magazine called "the most powerful all-female band in rock history."

Stripping Down the Mythos

Led Zeppelin was just as much about "hippie mysticism" and British folk as they were about heavy metal. In this special acoustic set, Lez Zeppelin explores the delicate, intricate side of the Zeppelin catalog. Expect a haunting and virtuosic journey through:

  • Folk Foundations: Soulful renditions of "Going to California," "That’s the Way," and "Tangerine."
  • Intricate Arrangements: The ethereal mandolin and guitar layers of "The Battle of Evermore" and the Celtic-infused "Bron-Yr-Aur."
  • Reimagined Classics: Even the heaviest riffs are given new life when played with the raw, wooden resonance of acoustic instruments, highlighting the band’s technical mastery.

The Band

Founded by guitarist Steph Paynes, Lez Zeppelin has spent over two decades transcending the "tribute" label. This isn't a mere impersonation; it’s a sophisticated channeling of the Led Zeppelin spirit.

  • Steph Paynes (Guitar): The architect of the group, capturing Jimmy Page’s intricate acoustic fingerpicking and electric swagger with surgical precision.
  • Dana Athens (Vocals): Delivers the soaring, blues-drenched power of Robert Plant with incredible range and soul-stirring intimacy.
  • Joan Chew (Bass/Keys): The versatile foundation of the band, expertly handling the melodic bass lines and the essential keyboard/mandolin textures.
  • Hillery Blaze (Drums): Provides the thunderous, rhythmic "thump" and pocket that defines the heavy, iconic Zeppelin sound.

Acoustic shows at the Cave are in high demand. Given the band’s global following and the limited seating, these tickets disappear quickly.
