A Rare, Intimate Encounter with a Rock 'N' Roll Architect
Randy Now's Man Cave and Cavestomp have joined forces to present an extraordinarily special event: an up-close-and-personal evening with musician, author, and rock historian Lenny Kaye.
Best known as the foundational guitarist and co-songwriter for the Patti Smith Group, Lenny Kaye helped forge the sonic backbone of NYC proto-punk and punk rock, appearing on essential albums like Horses, Radio Ethiopia, and Easter. As a 2007 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside Patti Smith, Kaye's imprint on modern music runs deep.
Beyond his legendary fretwork, Kaye is celebrated as the visionary curator behind the seminal 1972 garage-rock compilation Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, a release credited with coining and preserving the garage-rock genre.
What to Expect
