Flipper didn’t just play the punk scene; they slowed it down, stretched it out, and famously influenced a generation of "misfit kids," most notably Kurt Cobain, who famously wore a self-drawn Flipper T-shirt during Nirvana’s first Saturday Night Live appearance.
